What an cracking example, love the OE wheels too.

You'll notice an improvement when you come to replace those Pirelli P6000s too...(when they wear out in about 50,000 miles)

Cracking example. Exhaust is perhaps a little too loud for my taste but we are all different. Are your BBS wheels 14"? They are the best wheels for an MX-5 there is in my opinion.

Thanks for the comments

BBS's are 15's and agree they really suit the car, still need to get them refurbed at some point.

Exhaust is probably too loud but i'll live with it for a while, might get a silencer welded in if it gets on my nerves, do love the popping it makes on decelaration tho biggrin

I get plenty of popping with this:

Not too bad for 'drone' either.

Have heard good things about that exhaust, was tempted to get one last week as had them on offer at £150 but thought I'll stick with the one I've got for a while smile

Gave my wheels a clean today smile

Quiet a bit of brake dust on them lol

after a clean

Still need to get them refurbed at some point, hopefully later in the year.

Just gotta decide what colour to do the centres?

Looks great matey. I'd be a bit worried about not running a front grille though!?

I've been thinking about de-badging mine this week, this thread has confirmed it should look good. thumbup

Had a great day yesterday at Mercedes Benz World yesterday for the Pistonheads Sunday Service, followed by some B road blasting biggrin

Fitted some clear reflectors for the front bumper

Also brought a Baffle for the exhaust as was a bit loud, really suprised how much quiter it is now with it fitted, wont have to buy a different exhaust now smile

Done a few small jobs today, started with fitting a grille as car hasnt had one since I brought it, sprayed the tow hooks black while I was at it to match the grille

Applied my Pistonheads Smiley smile

Also took out my Cabin brace and windblocker ready for my rollbar to be fitted next week, thought it would be rude not to see what it'll look like fitted

Cant wait to see it fitted properly next week biggrin

Looking great matey, nice work!

I've seen loads without the grille on the front and to be honest, I think I'd be too scared to run mines properly without one. Aside from all the stone chips my grille has accumulated, I've picked a good few plastic bags from it which would've otherwise made their way inwards. yikes
