What struck me was - you debadge it removing the VXR badges. And then buy a big bloody plate that says VXR ?

You don't debadge to try and hide that it's a VXR! It's to make the back end look neater/smoother/easier to clean.
Looks great mate! I want another, but for track use this time! There's some cheap ones about and they'll get cheaper when the new one comes out I reckon.

Nice car but definitely not a fan of the de-badged rear, just looks empty and plain.

These still look so modern 6-7 years down the line. A very good design was that sport hatch. I test drove a 1.8 SRI back when they came out, thankfully I ended up getting my Clio 182 which was miles better than that thing. (The VXR was only just coming out and out of my price range at the time.)

Little update more for about a road trip than anything else...... So the idea was to go for a good blast with a couple of cars.... note the "idea" Total trip ended up with 14 hours driving covering 700miles is on friday night/sat morning! Roads included: - Black Mountain Pass - Llanberis Pass - Two sides of the Evo Triangle - Snake pass - Oopnurthring in the Peak District - Fosse way back to home The Route: Here are couple pictures, only ones from in daylight mainly Getting ready to start 10pm from Swindon Good temperature for a drive, getting on well just after 1am Pit stop for fuel, could only find a Tescos momentum it was then.. Carrying on into the night... Then it was on to aberystwyth pier No dog s t.... Getting late now More Fuel good V power this time On to the peak district and now it was getting light some pictures were taken Here are 2 little clips, nothing great due to the low temps and risk of ice.. VXR Driving in Wales - YouTubeVXR Black Mountain Pass - YouTubeOverall great trip, plan is to do another next year as this was a tester
