They were built between 1947 and 1981 with only subtle changes in that time!

Weirdly I've always liked these. smile Wouldn't want a head on crash in it though.

Isn't it noisy as fk with the engine next to you?

Didn't know what a HY was until I clicked on here! Last remember seeing this van in 'View To A Kill'. I like it! Good project, bookmarked smile

always liked the citroen HY vans. they look huge, but in reality are quite small.

my brother eventually wants one as a future business expansion and marketing vehicle to do the rounds at fayres/festivals and shows so ill direct him to tis thread. looks amazing!

Drove past one of these in Belfast last week, it was done up as a portable coffee place, can't remember the name of it mind.
