Looks very cool. What kind of engine do these run and how easy would it be to swap it for an XUD?

Good to see the Mrs in the background, tutting and harumphing about how long this 'stupid project of yours' is taking.

(I assume she is of course very supportive, van looks great)

Hi. Great progress! What RAL code did you use for the grey? It looks like a good match. I'm still reorganising the garage to start in earnest on my 68 HZ restoration.

How did you deal with the rust, cut and replace or sand and fill.

It's just that on a couple of pictures there there was still visible rust on panels and you were starting to filler them!

Great project - is it still in primer or has it had its final coat? I've been lazy and skim read.

Get some more picture up to - really impressed with the work thus far.

Considering the new thread, you made a very astute observation on this date!

Bits and pieces are being done to this.

Due to the fact that it's used daily, I did need more 'oomph'

So a mid 90's passat diesel engine is being fitted
Electric power steering
Front brake discs
and RHD

Will take pics as and when!

How did you get on with the guy who "restored" it with filler and a paintbrush? frown
