OK I'll see what I can do. I was a bit disappointed with the amount Adrian Flux charged me for insurance. I might have a ring round some other insurers who deal with modified cars. As the car is 15 years old could I go with some kind of historic insurance?

Fired this up last night as its not moved for months. Battery charged over night. Burst into life after a couple of seconds on the starter. The speedo has stopped working and I have an abs light on. Other than that it still works. Thundered into the office this morning grinning like a child. V8's just sound so right dont they.

Been to the 'ring in it this summer for a trackday, and it did Brighton Speed Trials again this year, managing a 2-second dead 64ft time, meaning it pulled 1g of acceleration. Fastest 2WD car over 64ft I believe.
