Car now at Dynotorque. Hopefully the vibration problem is an easy fix.

I really need to call them... I have a hankering for an LS powered e39 estate or Supra...

Anyone know a very 'ball park' cost of turning up with a car and an LS long block and driving out in a running car?

Prop was the culprit. Something about a UJ and a bearing. Car should be back in a couple of days.

I just called Dynotorque and asked them to take some pics of the Prop etc. So hopefully I have something interesting for this thread.

My beast is back. Disappointed to find out that Craig has sold his famous R X 7 for bits.

banghead

I can't believe that, I suppose the engine was worth a fortune but surely it made sense to stick a standard LS1/2 in it and sell it on.

This looks interesting. You can mount a BMW gearbox to the LSx range.

Yes, they've been doing adaptors for 1/2JZs to BMW gearboxes for a while. From memory, those were around the £1500 mark.

I seem to have mislaid the key for the Beast. I have a worrying feeling it is in the boot, locked.

Should anyone be interested, there is an LS engined E46 for sale on Ebay £8K IIRC

Isn't as nice as yours and seems a bit overpriced but if you want one - go find another.
