Was it £11k + car, or £11k all in? If all in what did you pay for the car?

Got me thinking now coz I just screwed the motor in my T5. I know it's FWD but, as Jeremy Clarkson would say, how hard can it be?

I think this is great project and for 11k, I think its a bargain.

I also love the look of an E46 and LS-1 engines are quite cheap from the states.

For 11k, its certainly something I'd consider doing

That's what mine owes me inc the car, obv I've done a lot of the work myself & as much wheeling & dealing on parts etc but I've done loads more than just an engine conversion on this car. You'd have to speak to DynoTorque yourself for prices etc but you should be able to buy an engine & have a conversion for £7-10k then again you could easily blow £12k+ on an engine.....
