Doomsday Impala
Discussion
Wheelies look cool and makes for a great Photo,
But,
The car is 18ft long, so doesnt tend to come down gently, especially when you have to come off the throttle. The car got out of shape towards the guard rail, so to stop it coming down on top of the rail, Dave came off the throttle when it was verually on the back bumper. Bent a few things. So its got wheely bars on now.
(bottom two pics are the "out of shape incident"

Heres a picture showing the ride height, Impala's are used extensively by the Low Rider community.
Ours is not airbagged, its fixed at this height
ha ha, wont go over bumps in the road, but Bang Shift said it had the ride height to scalp an ant, lol.

DOOMSDAY is DOOMSDAY today, at Santa Pod 5.25pm today she went into the wall.
Its took about a 12" wide band of paint off front to back,
front clip, door, and rear quarter, plus smashed the corner light.
Car still drives, but so it battle damaged badly.
Its not game over and we can still race, but theres a big winter project on the horizon
Bahhh. Thats racing as they say...........
