I've been running my 530i Touring since August now and it's been ace. I had rough running due to the leaky rocker cover gaskets but has been great since that's been sorted. Did post a thread a while back but didn't get much response. Does no one like Tourings? frown

Always fancied a touring e34 but never found a nice one. 530i touring would be nice though space and pace. Any pics?

The 540 passed its MOT today needed nothing. Very pleased about this!

It has averaged 24mpg since I got the car a few months ago. I have done about 6000 miles in 4 months, so I will probably average 18000 miles a year in a 4 litre v8. Sounds ridiculous, but I don't mind as I don't have any depreciation to worry about.

It has had a service and new front brake pads since purchase.

If anyone is thinking about getting one of these as a daily, do it. Such comfy, well made cars.

Nice car. I'm just back into an e34 540i. Bought mine 3 weeks ago 1995 in black with grey leather auto. I was pleased given I only paid £550 for it that she passed the mot with no work required.
Looks very nice for £550.

Agreed, that's mental money for it.

Nick, put your cheque book away, he only just bought it!

Am glad you agree. Means you won't expect much when you sell your E36 to me smile

Any changes to your fleet planned for this year?

I keep looking at e46s but i cant justify the extra money for such a miniscule performance gain. In all like
Ihood i'll keep mine and have the paint freshened up. The nose is looking a little tired and a better bootlid would be nice. It just does everything i need it to without being a huge chunk of money sat in a car.

That said, if a nice imola, titan, topaz or possibly arctic manual hardtop came along...
