that is well nice

are you sure it's not Carbon Black? - cos thats dark dark dark blue with a hint of black too?
Thanks.

I was told it was Monaco Blue. I think my photos make it look a lot darker than it is in reality as it was quite dark when I took the photos. It definitely looks more blue than black in reality.

That is a gorgeous car mate, love the colour. Pretty sure it's carbon black though as someone has previously mentioned. Carbon black is actually a very dark blue. I have a Maldives blue 2.5 litre z4 myself and love it, so you must be over the moon with this smile

Thanks! I am loving it! Well, after seeing it up close, it definitely looks more like Monaco Blue than Carbon Black. I think it's just that it was quite dark when I took the photos and as the car was so shiny it causes a lot of reflection, making it look more black. I'll check once we're back from holiday.

I've seen this colour on a BMW in a showroom - it is lovely in the sunshine.

I went for Toledo blue on my old Z4, it looked great, plus it wasn't silver, grey or black like nearly every BMW on the planet.

Another nice looking z4 there smile seems there are a few fellow z4 owners on here.
I agree that silver/black/grey cars are pretty common these days. They still look good but it's nice to have a colour that's a little more unique.
Just did a search for Monaco blue z4's on google and the PH advert for the OP's car came up. It looks a little more blue in those pics so I've changed my mind, it's Monaco blue, lol.

Lol!

I'll try and get some photos in bright sunlight with my circular polarising filter in to eliminate reflections to try and bring out the colour.

I like that Z4, very different colour.

I'm too tall for the sports seats in that era Z4 so had to get SE seats/model = why I got a 3.0L and not an M model.

I love the Roadster! The boot lip / flick looks great and is such a nice touch!

I do agree that CSL's finish these off nicely... never been a fan of the Z4M wheels.

Thanks everyone!

Just struggling to justify CSL wheels at the moment. There's some on eBay for £1,500 with fairly worn tyres.

At the moment I need new tyres. Trying to decide whether to go for winters or a set of Continental Contact Sport 5 P's.

Such a compliment from the man himself! I have wanted a Z4M ever since I saw your videos! Would love a ride in your car. Out of interest, what tyres do you have and what have your experiences been in the winter?

Won't it state the colour on a sticker under the bonnet?

I like the car and the colour.

Great looking car, shame its not the coupe though smile

Regarding the stubby, if you listen to the radio you might want to stick to the standard aerial as I and several other people have found that the stubbies reception is pretty poor.

The ariel is only for AM reception. FM reception works even without it. So unless you listen to Radio 5 Live then I wouldn't worry.
