Great looking Z4, I do prefer them to the Z3 Hairdresser things. Z4s just have that stance in a nutshell! cool

Have you ever driven a Z3? The "hairdresser" thing is not at all accurate.

Didn't say they weren't good to drive, I'm just not keen on the Z3 looks compared to that of the Z4.

The ariel is only for AM reception. FM reception works even without it. So unless you listen to Radio 5 Live then I wouldn't worry.
Wrong, it's also a back up when the signal is too weak for the one in the bumper. Saying that I run a stubby and it's not a huge problem unless you go to low coverage areas.

There is an FM antenna in the bumper, similar to that which most cars have. I ran my Z4 with no boot antenna for a bit when I fooked up changing to a stubby. FM worked fine. AM didn't. Maybe the external antenna aids FM, but in most locations you won't need it.

Love Monace blue with a lighter colour interior. My be just a little biased. wink It also hides the dirt quite well.

Was yours the E89? I wasnt aware that the E85/E86 has an antenna in the bumper. Certainly looking at Real OEM I can see nothing about an aerial in the bumper?

Also I tried the stubby, it was st, went back to the normal aerial and it was fine. I dont listen to AM

Bought some new Continental Contact Sport 5P tyres for it. Mmm, grippy! Looking forward to our local PH meet tomorrow night. I'll try to get some good interior and under bonnet photos.

And finally some interior photos. It has the extended leather option (leather A pillar, windscreen surround, centre console and rear compartment as well as the seats), individual leather, sepang bronze on the seats and carbon effect leather on the dash.

Well, we've found a stunning house locally which is perfect for us, so if our offer is accepted, I'll be forced to sell the Z4M unfortunately. frown

I hadn't planned to sell so soon, but this house is too nice to pass on really. It's heartbreaking to have to let it go, but needs must.

I've put an advert up on Pistonheads, so we'll see how it goes.

Well, after selling the Z4M nearly exactly 5 years ago, I've just bought it back!

The lady I sold it to still owned the car and had only covered around 6000 miles.

I'm so pleased to have it back!!

That's great news. I drove one from 2006 to 2010 and it was huge fun.

Are you still looking to change those wheels?

Nice one! I sold mine back in July, they are fantastic cars and still pretty decent value. It would look good on CSL wheels smile

It looks outstanding OP really like the colour!
I don't have the M but absolutely love our Z4 roadster.
It's unlikely we'll get the new shape when we change as we're looking at the X2 when it eventually comes out but they are fantastic cars!

Do you know how many examples of your car they did in that colour?

Z4 is a lovely colour. Mine is Monaco blue and changes noticeably in the sun. Pictures courtesy of DDB detailing who brought the paint back to it's former glory.
