Hi all, long time lurker finally joining the forums. I'm Originally from the UK and moved to the states 5 Years ago.

This is my Pearl White 2010 R35 GT-R that I acquired new early last year. It now has about 18K on the clock and is still running strong, not one fault (yet). I have so far been focused on keeping it regularly serviced and looked after 100% so the modifications are light at this moment. After a few months of ownership I was tired of the sound it made and decided to get an exhaust and mid-pipe. I went with a Meisterschaft setup and never looked back. It can be obnoxiously loud when I'm stuck in traffic and the drone can be annoying at low RPM in 5th or 6th, but apart from that its great.

I will keep this tread updated with the project as it progresses.

the day I got it smile

Nice, really nice. A decent win on the lottery will see me running for one of these first, I've loved them since they came out.

I like this.....a lot..

I like it in white , some colours look better in different (warmer) climate's.

As another poster said. The majority of US Spec cars look better.

A white R35 GTR ran a 10.9 sec 1/4mile in dry conditions at the annual Brighton Speed Trials on it's 1st timed run..
Two more runs in damp(11.23) and (11.63) wet had the car win it's class..
Think only mods were a slight re-map,otherwise awesome standard car that ran blistering times up against some very expensive competition..
What a fantastic car,and yours looks amazing..

Thanks mate! Yeah it only takes bolt-ons + a tune and you can run mid to low 10's all day, even a 10.003sec @ 137.61mph on stock turbos.

Incredible looking car. I love Japanese cars, they have so many design features that I just love. That exhaust is excellent too, the pipework looks huge though! When it's sitting on the drive way you really see how substantial the pipes are.

In terms of performance mods, it's a Japanese car so there is always going to be a lot of choice. I'm not sure if the R35 GT-R will reach the levels of "tunability" or popularity with tuners because it is imo a more complete package out of the factory, whereas the Skyline GT-Rs were heavily detuned in their factory setting, hence most owners settling on what I've seen referred to as a "practically default" 400bhp or more. The R35 might have more to give than it does in factory setting, but when it's already so damn fast and corners so well, I think it's probably a case of a lot of money for little actual improvement. With that in mind, I think an exhaust system is probably the best thing you can do for the car, as they do sound a bit flat given the monstrous performance when they leave the showroom.
