Hey Cedric,

Yeah, to allow easy fitment of Porsche wheels and for more braking power. And those drum brakes are a pain! MC on the 924 turbo is the same as the NA so that doesn't need changing.

Currently running Gaz coilovers on the front and yellow Koni adjustables on the rear but will fit the matching Gaz ones.

Anyway, big news is that I am buying a new car and so this is now for sale. Slightly impulsive but I thought it was an opportunity not to be missed!

It'll be at Donington on Sunday with a huge selection of 924's as part of the 924 National Rally. Bring £2k and it's yours with the low miles engine and all my spares.

Reason for sale:

The black car is indeed a 924 Turbo S2. However it has a genuine Carrera GT intercooler made by Langerer & Reich along with 16" Fuch wheels, adjustable Koni's and carbon fibre wings.

The white car is a GTR evocation, with a fully seam welded chassis and 400bhp engine. It's based on the 2l rather than the 2.5 mind.

Plenty more details to come of course!

Yes, I'm going to be keeping my seats from the white car. Also tempted to keep the Momo wheel as it's a lot better to drive with than the 3 spoke.

The car was built a few years ago by Crow Magnum/Jon in the 924 club. It's definitely one of the best CGT replicas and also has a genuine CGT rear bumper. Being an S2 and with the intercooler, it can't be far off a real CGT in terms of performance.

Yes, forget the 968CS, the 924CGT is the holy grail in my opinion. With the intercooler and standard boost this should be putting out around 200bhp. It's considerably lighter than a 944 S2 of similar power and likewise, with the intercooler, I should be able to run a bit more boost without issue.

Happily, my white 924 is insured with Lancaster and the CGT replica attracts no rise in price!!

Once my white car is sold, you're welcome to come out for a drive if I'm ever passing by.

Everything is sorted out for collection of the black car, so the white car can't hang around and is now for sale at a bargain £1500 with everything included! The cost of Gaz coilovers, 5 stud brakes and leather seats must be near this alone!

The black car has sold now. I saw the white one on eBay too, I think £3k is a bit much for it.
