mc_blue said: Love the modifications you've done and am very impressed by the standards of the repair. How much did it cost you to sort overall just out of interest? Yeah 20k was the target and we came in (just) under that. This doesn't include wheels, exhaust, pulley, splitter or spoiler though. It could have been done for far less than the budget if we'd bodged repairs and weren't fussy about the final finish. For example the car had a complete front end respray to get rid of previous stone chips, new Windscreen as the old one had a slight crack, new rear bumper rather than repairing the old one etc,etc I wanted the car as close to showroom as possible and wanted a proper job done so there were no niggles in the back of my head, I was also adamant no corners were to be cut as this is a car I take my kids in and so it needed to be A1!

Saw this car at Sunday Service @ Porsche. Car looked stunning in the flesh! I was parked 10-15 cars down from you in the black Honda Integra DC2. Very nice mate!

It's good to see a Cat D car getting a good review!
I wonder how many cars are out there with more damage than a Cat D that haven't gone through insurers and not been fixed properly... but that's another thread!!!
Stunning M3!

You've got some balls to take that on! I'd imagine just stripping such a modern German car would be difficult enough with the amount of trim and wiring etc.
Good job. Looks much more difficult than the cat repairs I've previously done.

That repair work and getting it back on the road is amazing, considering the state it was in!! You never mentioned whether you kept the supercharger or not though?!

excellent repair, done to highest standard. not sure how it worked out cost wise,loads of labour I'm sure ,nice to save that M3 though. if your keeping the car then it's worth it ,trouble may be selling it.lovely looking car,nice mods too. someone I know has a 335d coupe,08 cat d. looks perfect to be fair,but he can't get anywhere near 10k for it.{low miles too}. and my friend is buying an Audi a3 tdi 2004,85k ,previous stolencar,with no damage £2000,from vauxhall dealer.{that is the figure the dealer gave for the audi}
