One area I hadn't given much thought was insurance now that the Lincoln is now the UK's fastest (probably)

Bugger all I would imagine... it's not exactly a sports car

Well its a 70 bhp increase at a minimum and would be closer to 100bhp with a better exhaust system so I am not expecting it to be cheap

Ok so my current insurers have told me to foxtrot oscar with regards to insuring the Lincoln with the new mods - so PH hive mind, is there a classic insurer that takes a positive view of modifications?

Its so pretty...ok well its just a timing cover but it beauty is more than skin deep because with this final part we are good to go for final assembly!

I don't know any that take a positive view.

But you could try a good broker - Saffron have been good in my experience for various cars.

300bhp/ton must have experience in this area - try PM'ing him.

I managed to get a decent quote £225 with all mods declared - so thats one less thing to think about

Not bad... I find quotes for imported cars tend to be very reasonable, mods or not

Yeah I'm pretty happy with that, though they promised to get the documents emailed to me...did they hell.

Drove the Lincoln for the first time in a while, only round the block mind but she feels a lot healthier.

Sadly my 2nd hand exhaust manifolds are causing a bit of a blow which we need to resolve before she's finished.

Still it's more than ready for its mot

Love this. That engine bay look scary to work on. so much wires.

Its not that bad - most of those are vacuum hoses and it makes more sense if you just note things down when you remove them.
