Very nice. I wish we could keep cars outdoors and I wish we had land like that to store them on! very luck.

if you were to go back and look, my response to your initial post made no issue. In fact it was funny, unless of course it was too close to the truth for comfort

from there you decided that an insult was your best course of action. Do not try to make a victim of yourself now
A very good point. Just re read it and it makes sense this time round. Clearly was being dim first time I read it.

However whilst you may feel I am being mean I stand by the fact that I think those wheels are terrible/hideous or whichever word you wish to choose that really is the strength of how i feel about them.

The rest of your fleet is fantastic.

C'mon. I know your sort. You get your camera out and take a few shots of the cars in the yard out back. Casualy chuck a few pics up, give us a bit of info, chat about your favourite resto's.

But we know theres more. We know you have even cooler stuff hiding behing that garage door, under old covers, dusty, forgotton. You mentioned you like bobbers, and theres an old Willy's in the background. C'mon, Give us a proper tour. Lets see some bikes!! biggrincoolbiggrin

The point is, all you had to say was something to the effect of -

"The wheels on the merc aren't to my taste, but I like the rest of the fleet though"

But no, you chose to respond to a well thought out OP by simply saying "are you a pimp?"

yeah, you have me on that... I do have other toys. The problem is that I lose interest when the wrenching part is done. The ones that I spend my time playing with are always the favorites, because they keep my pea brain going.
My dad used to race datsuns, so there might be a few full race 510s in the barn, and maybe a 240 Z or two... Ya never know, I might have even seen and XJS in race trim around somewhere

The old jeep is an all original 1943. It still has the military spec shovel and axe on the left side. I had to go back and relook at the pics to figure out what you were talking about. It has been sitting right there for the past year, so I forget it is even there

Thats some collection you have I agree pictures and details of the rest of your collection please!! Did you say Race Prepared XJS???

Why people feel the need to insult peoples cars like they have is beyond me sure there are cars I look at and think thats not right etc but theres no way I'd insult the owner or car at the end of the day its not my car its theirs so their choice if we all liked the same things life would be pretty boring.

Excellent collection OP - I'm looking forward to seeing some more of your toys smile

I take it that your truck is a petrol? What are they like compared to the Powerstroke Diesel V8?

I have worn out two powerstroke diesels. The 2000, 7.3 was by far the best.
where I live now, there is a mud issue in the winter. The diesel engines are so heavy they do not do as well as the gas powered pickups...that one has the V10 petrol engine, and an airlocker front differential. It does not do too bad

Welcome to PH Heretic, and thank you for sharing such a fabulous collection of cars, bike and pick up truck.

For the haters out there I actually like the Merc, makes a refreshing change from the boring 8 holes and AMG wheels usually found on such cars

NO, you do not want my boots. I grew up on a working cattle ranch. I have been wearing the traditional American cowboy boots for so long they have shaped my feet... Your feet would be sore, in short order
