you are not going to offend me about my home... not everyone can handle living in the mountains. Places like mine are quite uncommon here, and you really have to want one to be willing to pay the difference in price and deal with the commute. My house is 40 years old, and it does lack some of the modern touches. To me the rustic charm more than makes up for that...plus it has a walk in cooler...I can keep a lot of beer cold

it gets better. there is an indoor BBQ, that vents up the fireplace chimney.
also an enclosed hot tub room. This was a retired couple's dream home. They designed it and then had a local contractor build it...

I absolutely lucked into the place. I leased it from the son of the original builders. at the time he would not even discuss selling it. Now we may have a deal worked out, and I will own the place. It has taken a few years, but it was worth it. I love the place

thanks...
I may be adding to my garage congestion shortly. With winter coming on, here, motorcycles are going cheap. I made a ridiculously low offer on a buell. The owner said he would think it over. The last thing I need is another toy. My lady would have my arse in the ringer, but I cannot pass up a deal, for some reason

What she doesn't know can't hurt you. You seem to have plenty of space to hide away a new bike for a few months....

no, the bikes go in the garage attached to the house, and you have to step into the garage and make a sharp right, to get to the walk in refrigerator... There is no hiding it. I will just be walking with a limp because 1/2 my butt will be missing, when she gets through with me....
she puts up with a lot from me. I have to give her credit for that. I can get away with hiding guitar purchases, but my obsession with bikes and cars sometimes gets the better of me

and she even knows what guitars I have. I can't successfully hide anything
