Another MX-5 thread...
Discussion
The MX-5 has gone to BCA at Bruntingthorpe, although the driver thinks it may go to a dealer as it is in such good condition! Somebody is going to get a great car! Hopefully I don't get done for any wear & tear, there were only a few minor scuff on the interior that weren't noted.
I had some great times in the car, especially the roadtrip to the Outer Hebrides last summer. I will miss it, but looking forward to life with the MR2!

My old MX-5 made it into evo magazine: http://evoapp.co.uk/19DRSK4
I'd forgotten that I'd sent in a few words/pictures about my trip to Scotland last year, so it was a bit of a surprise to see my old car in the magazine!

The MR2 is nearer to the mk1 MX-5, than the mk3.5 in terms of refinement, but with the mid engine layout the handling feels more precise. Which i prefer to the looser MX-5s.
Mazda really did do a good job with the mk3 MX-5 though, little details like the one handed hood operation make the Toyota seem a bit low rent.
As I got the MR2 mainly as a weekend toy, which plays to its strengths, the mk3.5 MX-5 was a better daily driver/only car though.
