E34 530i Touring
Discussion
The leather as you can see from yours and mine and the one on ebay is superb if the car is reasonably well looked after..... far far better and harder wearing that the stuff they put in the E38/E39 unless you spec'd upgraded stuff
Ours.... (even came with a little sample piece and tag!)
ebay car...
All with over 100k miles..... now go and find 3 100k E39's!

I had a full set this morning, number plate, tail light and dipped beam...
Will clean the contacts up and get some new bulbs in there quick snap.
Was the same on my e34 touring and my current saloon. Isn't it going to get expensive replacing all the bulbs for decent quality ones as recommended? I've just learnt to ignore it, but the thing is my Bismarck would be a 100% fault free £550 car if I sorted it! The other problem can be the LKM under the bonnet that gets dry solder joints. Will clean the contacts up and get some new bulbs in there quick snap.
Let us know how the clean up and bulb changes go and I may have a go myself if you pull it off!
Fantastic car, that. Oxford Green is a superb colour (I am naturally biased )
check control flagging the lights when there aren't blown
Before you go changing all the bulbs, try just unplugging the headlight levelling motors (2-min job on the back of the headlights). If that doesnt cure it - then try cleaning the contacts for the rear numberplate lights.
Sounds odd but humour me...
