Yer, C4S.
I spoke too soon however and can't get it till Friday now
Weather and traffic was predicted to be so bad today we decided not to drive the three hours south to collect the Porker.

Had a tinker with the dog chariot instead and chucked the winter boots on

Just got it yesterday after a long 9 hour round trip.
Drive home was in the dark and rain so not too special. Been for a blast today with the lid off and love it.

Here she is next to the M3 and a load of spare wheels

Nice to have the hardtop. Looks good. Feel much quicker than the m3?

Yer, the hard top is nice but I think it probably won't go on much.
I have not driven fast yet, possibly today....
I assume the M3 will have the edge

Thanks!

Next quest is to pass my trailer pulling test so I can tow the M3 to the track. Insurance, tax & MOT are a pain...

It's easy.
There is a parallel reverse that I manage perfect on the first attempt.
Then the rest is observation, like a normal driving test, which requires you to forget bad habits.

I got 1 minor, hesitation, I was doing 30 in a 40 as I wasn't sure of the speed limit!

If 18 year old girls can do it for horse boxes... You can do it ! smile

Look forward to hearing if you pass first time. Is the cost of buying a trailer and a car heavy enough to safely tow the m3 significantly cheaper than the cost of driving to most uktracks, albeit on hsds set firm and with those brill race seats you've got?

Ah, my thinking is that I can rent a trailer when required and the 330i should be able to tow it ok.
Mind, I did see some nice trailers at the NEC yesterday...

I'll keep my eye out. Have you seen the race cars direct website. Often trailers for sale on there.

Ah, miss driving the M3! Roll on the summer and some more track days.

Did get a quick drive around the block however to heat it up and test everything before packing it away

Yer, looks like a yard now.
It's hidden from view however, the fence was put up with this in mind

Haha, I may be doing something similar as I'm approaching the more-cars-than-garage-space thing...
