Mot. Still trying to find that oil leak. One or two rattles antagonized by a wales hoon. Hopefully fitting a purple tag steering rack. Once the oil leak is sorted I can progress with APs and then diff, but don't want to commit to them in case the oil leak ends up being a big bill. Post up some pics of your track day.. Here's a few of a recent jaunt to wales with some tasty tVRs.

Finally got the bathroom done so it was time for some Garage time....

First was to change the oil in the LSD

Couple of litres of this stuff

Pumped in

Next was the Gearbox

Some of this stuff

The plugs that BMW sent me were the same for the Diff and Gearbox.
They fitted the Diff but I had to reuse the ones from the gearbox

Anyway, all done and ready for action

Have been getting ready for the BMWCC Track Day at Donington

I have put as much -ve Camber on as possible but am limited due to the fact that I can't get the Allen key in if I push it over any more.
Anybody else get this with the HSD's..?

Looking good. Pick mine up Saturday. New quick rack fitted. When are you back to sea? I'm about to book a couple of track days.

Probably on dry land for another 2 months if I'm lucky.
Let me know what you are doing.

Very nice build. Get on e36coupe if you are not atm.

I have HSDs, if you want to run more camber you have to drop the strut set it and bolt back up. Only real way.

Cheers for that info. I may consider this when I start using a trailer but probably too much of a pain for road use

To be honest I was just trying to repair the broken plastic air ducts around the fog lights and brake cooling.
I was also going to remove the mechanical fan but I didn't have a spanner big enough to get it off.

I have cut away as much of the AC system as possible and just need to get the compressor out now - I was concerned it would mean removing and refitting the power steering pump at the same time so decided to abort and go read some Haynes manuals...

I think I may have taken these pads a bit too far...

I have fitted some new pads (EBC BlueStuff).
The discs are a little battered however so I will have to look at replacing these next time..
