Mercedes C250 Coupe in Diamond white
Discussion
The replacement for the MINI arrived yesterday
It is the new Mercedes C class Coupe in Diamond white metallic paint (special 5 layer paint that shows an almost satin sheen under certain lights, metallic in others, bright white in others and "calcite white" in other conditions. The paint really does look great in the flesh IMO and the pictures don't really do it any justice as you cant see through the top layers of paint on them.
It has the COMAND Online sat-nav system with a 10gb hard drive for music and lots of other toys including, adaptive headlights, auto dimming headlights, "drowsiness detection system", and lots of other stuff I haven't even had chance to look at yet!
The engine is the "250CDI" model, a 2.2 litre twin turbo diesel. It is very smooth but a little on the noisy side under hard revs. I opted for the 7 speed auto box as i dont like the way merc put handbrakes in the foot well and have a separate lever to release it, as well as the fact that the auto has stop-start, and is more efficient and quicker than the manual. I am extremely impressed with the gearbox, it just seems to know what I am wanting it to do even before I know what I want to do!
The interior is nicely laid out and everything is simple enough to use, the seats also hold you very well.
Unfortunately Thumbsnap is playing up and will only let me upload this 1 photo if anyone wants to see the rest of them then drop me a PM and i will forward them to you and if you could post them for me i would be greatful

Make an account at www.photobucket.com - it only takes 5 minutes and it's a doddle to use. Lovely Merc by the way, even if I'm not a diesel person. Would be nice to see some photos of the interior (once they are available for display).

Thank you I will upload them to there if i can, you will have to wait until tomorrow for interior shots as I haven't took any yet and its a bit dark outside now. Thanks everyone, i really do love the white, especially when i look out the window and see the light glinting off it.
MPG so far is about 40 but keep in mind that it isn't even run in yet and that is mainly town driving. i think i will see mid 40's to maybe low 50's once run in and driving to work and back each day.

Stunning. Would have in a heartbeat, currently checking out finance deals...
Now I was under the impression that you were a student..?
ETA: After seeing the price list, I'm really hoping I'm wrong, or I'll be directing some serious hate at you.

It's actually my company car from our families business. I got this and my brother got an Audi A5 black edition in exchange for us working all hours that god sends.
Have a little look at lease deals on them, they are currently "on offer" and are going for some decent prices, fully maintained. Let me know if you want me to send you any links to good deals. Also check out the C class coupe thread in the "mercedes" sub forum.
