You still have memories? Clearly you didn't drink enough
Well a lot of those memories centred around foreign ports, paralytically drunk sailors on the piss, suturing up head lacerations, dealing with broken noses, dislocated shoulders or communicating with non english speaking hospital staff, all generally at around 0400 in the morning, and I am still trying to forget, as for the rest aussieinlondon said:
No real aim to be honest (power wise), I have no immediate plans for software upgrades, hardware to improve on the stock power and cooling but more interested in improving the handling and braking, so next up will be looking at the tyres with the new super sports over the current pilot sport sp2's. After the interooler was fitted and ran on the dyno, at the flywheel it was making night on 380bhp and 400lbft of torque. I have yet to run it since the secondary cats where removed.
To be honest, the Don Palmer limit handling course is my plan for summer so I can harness the current power available before taking it to the next level, that I feel will be more beneficial for me right now.
Very good plan, become an expert on the car itself before going to the next level. To be honest, the Don Palmer limit handling course is my plan for summer so I can harness the current power available before taking it to the next level, that I feel will be more beneficial for me right now.

You will love the super sports btw, just fitted them to mine after having the PS2's, excellent, genuinely excellent tyre and so so much better in the wet cant believe the difference!

That is exactly my thoughts also, can never gain to much knowledge and after the past 10yrs of fwd hot hatches I need a rwd rehash so might as well take it to another level.....You will love the super sports btw, just fitted them to mine after having the PS2's, excellent, genuinely excellent tyre and so so much better in the wet cant believe the difference!
As for the tyres, your opinion sounds exactly like many I have spoken with who have moved on to the super sports so it sure sounds like a smart thing to do.
Good weekend had at the ring, mid to low 20's and sun, before returning last night to a drought stricken England in torrential rain
The 1M performed well, no brake fade (braided brake lines and uprated fluid), maybe a little over assisted in some areas, plenty of grip and balance in the corners. I usually do the run in my astra with its clubsport suspension, sticky track tyres, alcon 6 pots half cage and so on, but was surprised how well the 1M attack the ring near on stock. Must get back out there once the KW DDC set up is fitted and the mich pilot super sports.

Please pop a review up once you have them fitted. Could break traction quite easily in second on the PS2's but the super sports dont lose grip at all in 2nd gear, even in the wet they will only slip in 3rd and thats when being silly. As for the tyres, your opinion sounds exactly like many I have spoken with who have moved on to the super sports so it sure sounds like a smart thing to do.
