Have you tried sand in the airfilter?
About 10bhp increase so I've heard as well as the previously mentioned backseats.
Could be flying.

Some people have no sense of humour.

I'd look at improving the air intake.

Buy a proper one, not a pipercross chav one which just sucks in a load of hot air. Place it in a cooler part of the engine bay with some proper tubing etc and you may see a small increase in HP.

Get some proper suspension, ie. springs, dampers etc not just chopped springs.

Looks alright at the moment though

I know. There are lots of examples in this thread. You can see them all, they're the ones jumping on the hilarious "taking the piss out of the kid with the old Corsa" bandwagon.

I wouldn't be dumping any more money into this, personally. For the cars you can get for next to nothing these days, blowing a load on aftermarket parts for a clapped out old Corsa B seems like folly.

Nothing funny about having a Corsa.
I used to have one and it was a solid car for what it is. However trying to make it sporty by fitting an air filter, exhaust and new suspension is just stupid. If you want to encourage this go ahead.

This from someone who looks to be driving a modified Mini... (from the profile pic)

The same could be said for that...

In that case, invest your money in the right way. Fitting 60mm springs and a cone intake filter is not the way to go. If you have other vehicles to drive, SORN this vehicle off the road and do it properly.

Start with braking and suspension upgrades (not cheap lowering springs, get some coilovers or something similar). Then maybe look at HP increases.

You will have more fun out of a corsa that drives, handles and stops well. As opposed to one that is slammed on its backside and had the badges removed.

Just my opinion.

Minis aren't fast, and they're loud, and they're uncomfortable, and they're not all that reliable, but they're definitely not st.

Can be easily made fast thanks to the simpleness of the A series though wink

That's hardly easy though is it. Requires a custom made front subframe, extended front end, wiring would be tricky, as would space for engine plumbing.

Granted I know it's become a pretty popular conversion and a lot of the custom parts are readily available but it's really not what most people would consider easy.

A series engine is probably the easiest engine I can think of to work on. Probably better than the lump in the back of bugs.

You can double for horse power on an A series for a grand.
