Due to a blind 80 odd year old women I now need to replace my beloved M5 (see below) any suggestions from the masses? I'm thinking around the 7-10k mark, it will be my only car.

Another M5 is an option, but I thought I could use this as a chance to try something different, but yes I have spent a good few hours checking out all the e39 V8's for sale on here smile

What requirements. Does it need to be a big saloon? Comfortable? etc

E36 M3.

Then buy an E30 Shell (Touring?) and put M5 running gear into it.

Some nice suggestions there smile I've ran an e30 325 sport in the past, I ran the M5 for 7 1/2 years both as a second car then as a daily drive. The replacement doesn't have to be a big saloon at all, as I'm not restricted by kids\work etc, anything with 2 seats and a little boot space is an option biggrin

I'd probably be considering an E46 M3, E39 M5 or a Monaro.
