Replacement wing mirror arrived from the dealer today. Given the battering the parcel had on the journey I'm surprised it arrived intact!

If it happened after you played with the seat, possibly a loose connection on the multiplug that attaches to the seat electrics? Pretty common on other car brands I believe. Airbag light is an MOT fail now too

Yes, we will be, though, I suspect, not to that level of anality.
Having said that, Warren has offered to help and given his level of OCD it may well end up that shiny.

Look forward to seeing this beast in the flesh. I hope you have a better ownership experience than I did with my 740. So much complex ageing electronics to go wrong

Mmmmm...shiny! One thing I have been considering is what to call it. Not a name as such but an amusing moniker. The 540 Touring was nicknamed Blinky by StuStu because it had xenon conversions and a buggered sidelight that flickered. The Chimaera is called Big Blue. The Tuscan was The Beast. The Jag is The Jaaaaaag. Amusing suggestions for christening the 750 are welcome! Money Pit is just too obvious though!

at the suggestions. 'Dirty' photos have been taken and will be posted soon. Cleaning of the interior has commenced. Too cold to wash today though I think.

New wing mirror glass fitted - took all of 30 seconds. Just spent fours hours cleaning the interior; it's not finished yet but it's looking a whole lot better already The 'before' pics will be uploaded once I've thawed out
