Always wanted to drive a Puma since it being based on a Mk4/5 Fiesta (had a 1.25 Mk5 Fiesta and it was great fun to drive unlike the current Fiesta)

A bit off topic but is the latest fiesta that bad? Seems a pity as it looks (imo) really good.

Lovely little cars - I really enjoyed mine.

The 1.7 is the one to have, not the 1.4 smile

While I agree, still thought the 1.4 was a stonking little car.

Steve McQueen in the original advert, well sort of lol. I'd say "because my c*cks so massive I had to do something to give the other guys a chance" lol

hehe Never saw that but good answer. The thing is, if you go on either of the main two Puma forums, the overwhelming majority of members are male.

Amazing!

I'm glad someone bought that puma. I spotted it the other day and even suggested it in another thread for £2k cars as it looked like a great buy!!!

Any pretty looking cheapish coupe is considered girly, same with the mx-5 too and similar convertables, majority of drivers are guys but seen as being girly.

Original advert FYI

I must have missed that. Which thread?

It's not moved anywhere since I bought it as it hasn't got any rent on it yet. Gonna get my van flogged first then I'll get it on the road. yes

Just done the same. Traded in my E46 Touring for a yellow (god I wish it wasn't yellow) Millennium edition Puma with 92k (plus a good chunk of cash my way). It's in very good nick with only mild bubbling on the rear arches and everything works bar the passenger mirror. Had it 24 hours and enjoying chucking it around.

I've never seen a yellow one! I bet with some black detailing it'd look smart as fook

Well you really do learn something new every day.
I've only seen 1 yellow focus and presumed someone had sprayed it, shows what I know haha

Top purchase.

I'd try and find a leather interior from a Black or Thunder edition and then it's about as good as it'll get.

Nice purchase! Probably the only puma without rusty arches! I'm a massive fan of Pumas and the mk5 Zetec S, I've owned 1 & 3 respectively lol. Puma is a more rigid car and feels more settled a speed but I think I still prefer the 1.6 for the gearbox, seems a bit more eager although slower.

I currently drive a puma millenium #456, so it is bright yellow but at least i got the limited edition recaros, enjoy it though mate, great cars once you get them out on track too, don't listen to people saying you need to do this and that too them, always found they are great on track in standard form (if thats something you want to do)

This one, interesting first cars!!

I've been eyeing up Pumas as a summer back up/winter car as I remember having a blast in one about 9years ago when they were pretty new and compared to my mk3 fiesta I had at the time it was fantastic.
