TVR Cerbera 4.5 Lightweight

Originally I intended to own this car for just 6 months, but as these things seem to happen - I'm approaching my 5th year of ownership. I have to say that every time I have taken it out for a blast or long road trip, it has never failed to entertain to such an extent that selling her is virtually impossible for me to do!
Here is a video I took a while back, you can get a rough idea of how it sounds when started. But you've got to be there to truly enjoy it!

This was at Le Mans in 2008. I was browsing on the forums on PH shortly after coming back and I found someone had taken and uploaded this great shot, so thanks to whoever that was

The lightweight has a lighter body, in 2000 TVR developed lightweight honeycomb composite panels which together save approximately 40kg. This was part of TVR's move towards the use of high tech composite technology on road as well as race cars!ktm301p said:

A good bit of it can if you are handy with the spanners, and there is lots of help available on the TVR forum. BUT you may find when you come to sell it that the market is limited for those Cerberas that do not have a recognised service stamp.natben said:

Or I would say yes and no to this can depend on the individual car. Mine was owned by a TVR Indy for 7 years and the service stamps are not worth the paper there stamped on. The workman ship was very poor and lots had been missed over the years. I would happily buy any car with a pack of receipts and a car that reflects that a true enthusiastic has owned and cared for it. Just the other side of the coin And loads of us work on them ourselves now loads of threads running in the Cerb Forum.As for working on them there are very very simple cars when you learn you way around them.
