My Caterham R500 with the Caterham F1 team in Jerez

Guys,

Here are some pistonheads photos of my own little Caterham R500 at Jerez circuit in Spain last week, being driven by Heikki and Jarno for a promo day.

I think my little R500 looks good out there with the F1 Car and the SP300 too!!

That's quite a line-up and will be interested to see how they do in F1. Fingers crossed for them anyway.

I see that Trulli has been replaced by Petrov - not sure how he compares. Time will tell.

So how did your car get involved in the promo beyond displaying the team colours? Did you get a decent look or ride of the other two cars? Any video?

Well it was actually a big favour I did for Caterham Cars, I was not there with my car, it was just on loan from me to CC for the promo shoot.

Yes there are better pictures and supposedly a video too, I don't have them yet though!!

It was a favour for Caterham to use my car, we have agreed a special arrangement for the future, lets just leave it at that!!

Looks the bees mate! did you get any idea as to what the sp300's are the like? Look like they would blow the doors of any radical etc IMO.

Thanks, glad you like my R500.

Sadly I was not in attendance with my car, as I was away in Sweden for the WRC Rally at the same time.

My car travelled on its own down to Jerez on the F1 Team Transport.

I hope to see the full press release from Caterham themselves soon, along with the accompanying High Res Photo Shoot.
