Will have a look for pics of the Audi before the kit was fitted, then you can see the base car the engine in the car is the AMK 1.8 20vT (S3) and it has the 6 speed box. I always understood there was 2 s3 models the fwd and then the 4wd, if you have a look online there are lots of fwd s3's for sale

I bought it 3 years ago as a S3 it has all the extras, I purchased the car as a S3 FWD 1.8T, and i was told it had a replacement engine put in about 1-2 years ago but i do still have the receipt some where.

On the V5 document i have it says Audi A3 S 1.8t.
They saw you coming, there's no such thing as a FWD S3.

OP

you've clearly bought that FERAMR2 to cruise around maccy d's and other chav type hang outs, fair enough if it gets you laid a few times.

I bet you also wear a fake Jacobs & co watch smile

But it's a joke, and if it's left outside overnight in Leeds someone will damage it just for kicks.

There you go! It's an A3. You also state your car is 1998 Model which is odd because in the UK the S3 came out in August 1999.

So it's not an S3 then.

The ferrari replica is going to have some changes, new engine, genuine brembo calipers, discs, full reupholstry, including the gtf dash board and new clocks.

From what i have found out with the v6 u cant get the sequential gearbox for semiautomatic in the mk2 and but i am still unsure about the v8 as if the replica was based on the MK3 this would be possible.

dimensions are 1" longer on the replica as the wheel should be a bit more back.

The audi was the first car i have changed bumpers added a body kit done work on the engine, so i am still learning obviously its not to every ones taste but it is done the way i wanted it, Similar to the new ones.

Below is a rough estimate of what i spent over the past few years.

The car cost £1700.00 2009
KO4 Turbo £550.00
Larger manifold £75.00
Front mounted intercooler £260.00
Baily Dump Valve £88.00
Pipercross Cold Feed Induction Kit £129.00
Front and rear bumpers £525.00
side skirts £96.00
Alloys £650.00
Tyres £350.00
Lambo Door Kit £780.00
Koni Coilovers £600.00
Window Tints £240.00
Full Stainless steel Powerflow Exhaust £549.00
A6 Replica lights with LED's £289.00

Front and rear bumper fitting, and full car respray £1500.00
Skirts & Door Kit fitted £1200.00
Estimated labour costs £1000

ODB Reader built into dash displays fault codes, bhp, torque, temps, and some stuff i dont even know £300.00

I don't see why you bothered chucking money at a replica of an S3, made it look crap, when a nice, low miler S3 would have cost you a lot less and looked a lot better than what you've ended up with.

A3 S is a normal A3 with the S-line trim. Basically a sportback.

The S3 is a different engine (a fair bit more power), AWD and some subtle exterior differences.

If you had an S3, your V5 would state 'Audi S3'. Yours doesn't.

As with most cars, you can bolt on the bits which the top model has. For example, if I was to buy a bog standard 3 door astra, with a fair bit of cash thrown at it I could make it look like a VXR. I could even put a VXR engine in it. It is still not an Astra VXR.
