85,256 miles & the car went through the MOT with no advisories biggrin

Few pics after a quick celebratory wash between rain showers...

Nice to hear it's still going well.

I do miss mine - such a fantastic car to drive

Had to get more bodywork done in the last few days.
I noticed the NSR outer arch was beginning to rust in the usual spot.  I bought inner/outer arch panels & gave the bodyshop bloke the ok to do the (inevitable!) extra work as found.
In the end he had to do the NSR quarter panel behind the wheel & also the rear section of sill needed replacing.  Pleased with the result & finish & the total cost for the work was £600.

My mum had a couple, first an 8v then the 16v in White. Lovely car. Ended up with the cavalier Sri in blue. All where lovely cars. First time I ever did a 100 mph was in the White 16v Astra gte. I must have been about 13/14 years old. I thought it was like the fastest car on the planet

I guess that is super rare. I honestly cannot remember seeing that shape astra at all, in fact the last one was a red GTE back in 1996 in a works car park. Love the colour, had it on a vx myself. Mucho respect for keeping it in such fab condition!

Be very careful with that. ALL of them are thrashed by now and most aren't real super bosses. The regular 2.0 8v are tarted to look like the real boss. And they are fetching stupid money now too!
