I'm sure I recognise this from one of the many forums I'm on hehe

Good work, I like what you've done.

How original ...

Sorry OP, go back to your silly teenage car owners forums, pistonheads needs less people who think stretched tyres are cool.

Original looking mx5 with a supercharger yes. Bog standard looking like youve drove through stancedmongsareus is not the thing.

Brilliant comment rolleyes

Why did you feel the need to take time out of your day just to abuse someone else's tastes?

Certainly not the kind of member PH needs.. Wonder if he'll be back to criticise some more.

Woah, sorry that i added my 10p. I browse the readers rides and on the whole love what members do. Just becuase i am offended by what someone has done doesn't mean i should keep my mouth shut. opinions should be given and accepted whatever they are when you put your car on a forum for people to see.

I've long been a "hater" of the stanced/dub/stretched tyre parade so it's just me adding my opinion. Not my thing by far and i will say as much. People can quite happily rip into me if i put them up for everyone to see.

Sorry that i beleive pistonheads is a place that doenst need you guys on it with your dangerous tyres and stupid ride height.

oh do sod off. I'm not keen on his car at all, but you don't see me insulting him and telling him to get off the website.

Grow up, if it was dangerous, his car wouldn't be road legal. So please do us a favour and go back to your own website, we don't need people like you on here.

There's a difference between adding your 10p and being rude, and your post was certainly the latter.

I've never, ever seen anything about stretched tyres having caused an accident/damage at all, and I'm on pretty much all of the 'Stance' (I do hate that saying..) forums. Stupid ride height to you, but to us thats what we want to do.

I know most of PH isn't a fan of the whole scene we're part of, but PH is a place for everyone to be part of.

hehe

I don't usually read 'Readers Wives Rides' but was alerted to this one by someone on FB tongue out

I'm surprised he put it on here tbh.. I wouldn't put mine on here knowing what most of PH are like towards this kind of thing.

Right, i will conceed. Last thing i need is being booted from one of the few forums i use anymore.

Op i appologise for a harsh reply. My opinion has not changed, but having been shown my childish posts i'll try and word things to express my negative view of said car without being overly nasty.

smile love and hugs. Just keeps the forum a bit more pleasant.

Now, if it was a corsa on the otherhand... hehe

OP, not keen on the stretch/tyre width ratio but it's a very smart looking thing and the gold shows off the shape of it so much more than the usual black. Nicely done smile

In fairness to the earlier poster, but not to OP in everyones eyes, I think that in some of the pictures it does look terrible.

The wheels are far too large, not practical nor particularly safe, with virtually no compliance. Subjectively I think that in those pictures it really does look gash and it simply wont work properly. I say that as someone who knows that slightly stretched tyres work better (long before the fad, and nothing like as excessively)...

His car, his money. He can do as he pleases within the law.

A lot of people rip into me about my car, but i couldn't give a st. Being a ginner means that i have had my fair share nasty comments. I am well accustomed to congratulating people on thier observational skills on pointing out i have ginger hair/a wheel missing on my car.

People can say what they want, but so long as the owner is happy then what does it matter?

woops, im seem to have begun the pistonheads cival war hahaha. lets all just agree to say we love cars no matter what, thats my view. And i put it on here as i see nothing that says i cant, just a car appreciation site to me, thats why the motor will be hiding between the supercar ranks at sunday service. also just to make people puke in their mouth a bit more i may have to get smaller tyres (more stretch) as i get arch rubbing on full lock. Also just my 11p worth, i think 16's on mine work as i have had 14's and 15's and just dont fill the arches at the height i am at. I WILL CONVERT YOU ALL MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
