Bonnet was looking crap as the paint had gone milky. Tried cutting it back and no joy so out came the rattle cans.



Looks OK I think, certainly will do for the time being.

It's running a standard belt at the moment but harnesses are coming for next years trackdays.

Love the Mk1 - one of my fave motors. Particularly the blue, although the green is lovely too, especially with the creme interior

Do you mind saying how much you paid for it? Where did you find it.

I paid £1250 for it as it is in the first pick on page 1. I've since spent about the same again on modding it over nearly 3 years.
