Couple of photos from my travels.

Loving the Evora! Only mods I have done are the Radium cold air intake (+21bhp) and the Lotus factory exhaust. I've owned it for two month and driven it for 6,500km in that time.

Lovely car and beautiful looking locations too. How remote/ near to civilisation are those roads?

Great photos. Wonderful to hear of one being used - and nice to see an Evora with a proper Lotus front end.

1st, 2nd and 4th photos are 10 minutes from my house about 45 minutes out of Melbourne. 3rd is 90 minutes away, last is an ocean away in Tasmania (via ferry).

Australia has some of the best driving roads in the world, and Tasmania probably the best in Australia.

Lucky you to have roads like that so near driving

One of the things I miss most about living in Scotland is having great roads on the doorstep. The south eastern part of England is not so great in that respect (hence I'm currently job hunting in Oz and NZ for a more interesting working environment smile).

I came from a Golf VI GTI with the DSG box and the IPS is a world apart, so much more civilised at city speeds and it can be very direct and hard when being pushed. I drive with the sport button on 100% of the time because the box is superly responsive in that mode. I also use the cruise control anytime I am on the freeway, and even if sport mode is on it will engage 6th for cruising. I get up to 35mpg if cruising in a relaxed manner!

For twisty roads I use full manual mode with the flappy paddles, to mainly hold 2nd to 4th gear. That gives me completel control and allows me to keep revs in the sweet band between 3000-5000.

There are those who subscribe to the thought that the NA IPS performs as well as the S. i have not driven an S but I can tell you this car is proper quick and cannot see the need for more HP after I fitted the Radium cold air intake.

Anyway, I am ranting. Here's a video of me fanging it on a road aboutma mile from my place, and I have a bunch more vids on that channel.
