Been looking at these myself. How is the.clutch holding up with the map and all that torque? Whats real world mpg post map also? Nice car Op, any still photos?
It seems to be doing fine and im far from gentle with it, it's been this power for around 30k
Yeah I will get some still pictures up later on tonight.
Mpg wise I average 32mpg round town and the other day I drove 110 miles 3 up with all our camping gear at 80mph and average just over 50mpg
Is that trip computer or manual calc. Bloody good if the latter!

That does look very good, the wheels and dark grille suit it.

Yeah open diff, would love to fit an lsd but in all fairness the handling is as good as i would ever need on the road anyway, truly amazes me how quickly it can go round corners!

Nice motor, alloys really suit it!

What is the difference between the E39 530D engine and the E46 330D engine?

Why is the 5 series 193bhp whereas the E46 is in the 200s? It's more than mapping aswell as the E39 only maps to 240bhp tops

Fair enough, on the public roads I cant imagine it would make too much of a difference, I was just curious.

If you did want one, would an E46 M3 LSD fit on it, or would you have to go down the full aftermarket route?

Thanks, the wheels suit pretty much any car!
And its different turbo and injectors i think, along with ecu differences, the e39 is the smalled turbo, think the smaller turbo units are only 5 speed as well

Yeah im happy with how it is atm, as for fitting an lsd I dont think its as simple as fitting an m3 one (have read that up but cant remember why) and a quaife diff is 1k+

What 1/4 mile times u getting in that? (i pressume thats what u were doing in some of the pics?)

Was thinking about a 335d but 270bhp 330 sounds a better buy.
