Stunning play by Hendry today! I actually had a few quid on him to win the tournament! Might be a few steps too far though!

I'm not very good at this betting lark! Had a few quid on Doherty to beat robertson when the scores were pretty much even and put the remaining £6 on Huggins to beat Wenbo! hehe

Overall it looks a great few weeks lineup with some great matches.

Oh how snooker has fallen. A maximum used to pay £147K plus the £10K top break. Stephen will only pocket £40K plus £10K.

Have to admit that I haven't watched it for years now although I will be popping along to watch Snooker Legends this year.

Was a good 147! Nice and early too!

Anyone know why Eurosport has the snooker advertised to be shown now, But I am currently sat watching road cyclists and not snooker?

Not the first time I have found a channel playing something different than what it says should be on.

Shows how long it is since I weatched any snooker.

Looked through the list and have only heard of 5 of them , I can remember a time in the early 80's when I just had to watch every match .

This kind of stuff isn't good either.

Back in the heyday Refs would miss that kind of foul too but the player would always call foul. I've seen Jimmy White lose an important frame simply because he touched a colour that no one else saw but himself, he immediately called foul.

Just caught the end of Shaun Murphy being knocked out 10-8 to someone called Jones??

The Jones guy celebrated when he potted the red to secure him the frame then he potted the white on the next colour he potted. So luckily for him that celebration didn't turn out to be premature!

Graeme Dott was battered by Joe Perry earlier, after the first session he's 8-1 down!

O'Sullivan's on fire at the moment. He's unbeatable when he plays like this.
