Ok, on reflection maybe mentioning the envy factor on my first post might give a bad impression(though Im sure im not the only owner of a car to think it happens), even so, some of the hostility has been most unnecessary.

I will put some photos up later when i download some to my pc and figure out how to do it.

So are you saying that having a high perceived-pricetag doesnt ever elicit a negative reaction?
Im sure my car might not be to everyones taste, thats ok, but im also equally sure that some people immediately dislike the car just because they think its expensive.

I worked hard for a long time and fortunately I came in to a little bit extra unexpectedly so I got my dream car. Im not going to apologise for that.
Maybe i should stick to the rolls royce/bentley forums where I will find like-minded folk.

Last time, it's not the car. It's your instantanious dismissal of everyone else as inferior to you due to the value/brand of their car. Get off your self important horse, post some pics up and you'll find everyone more accomodating.

I think people have had a bad reaction because of your attitude rather than the car you SAY you drive, lots of folk on here drive very expensive cars and of course being a forum have differing views about which is the best! Perhaps it would be best it you did head back to the bentley forum so you can wave your willy around with like minded folk.

I dont dismiss anyone as inferior to me.
I did point out that a couple of the people who took the mick, totally without provocation, drive minis and meganes. If they take the mick, don't be surprised if I respond - if they laugh at my car, why can't i laugh at theirs?


And yes, to the guy above who said I live in Alderley Edge, so what? Its a lovely village.
I grew up in Altrincham and moved here 6 years ago. True, it has gained a reputation for footballers but if you know the place then you will know that they are a tiny minority, the majority are hard-working professionals and self-made men with their families. There are houses that cost millions and houses that cost a fraction of that amount.
