The barn on the right-hand side in the other pictures is still a barn too- and dates back to 1769 history fans One of the few set of original farm buildings around that havn't yet been converted into appartments!

Pfft. I've got an outhouse made entirely out of mud bricks! "Luxury!" I hear you yell...

Looks brilliant! I love these old school box shape 80's cars :-)
Am I right in think Clarkson brought one of these for one of their shows and done some sort of 24hr mud race in one but cooked it after turning the boost up and what not?

There was also a much older Top Gear where he was going over a Starion speaking highly of it. Seemed to be something of a fan of them. But yes he killed the one they were using in the race- mainly to a lack of cooling. This is another known weak spot on the Starion.

Looks awesome. Now I'm wondering if I have one in my virtual garage on Gran Turismo. If I don't, then I need one soon!

The only one on the GTA series is the rally version, which if I remember correctly is 4WD (rather than RWD) and the earlier narrow-body type... And- on GT4 at least- an utter sod to unlock!

There is one in a junkyard in west palm beach, florida.
It is complete minus the engine bay stuff.
All body parts still there.
Yes it has the flared fenders.

Just to echo everyone else, that is fantastic! I love the old japanese 80's stuff, and that looks to be in great nick - at least on the outside. The wheels are particularly excellent, and remind me of the ones on my old Celica Supra 2.8. Please don't be tempted to fit aftermarket ones, they really suit the car.

I'm a sucker for anything with pop-up headlamps or boxed arches so this is a double winner. Unless the wheels are very seriously damaged I'd be surprised if they're beyond refurbishment. Some of the things refurbishers do with metal epoxy and even straightening buckled wheels is amazing.

I'm tempted to get unbolt the front fenders and cut the rear flares off.
The dimensions of the flares would work with many other cars..........maybe even my nissan leopard F31.

Cheers guys. Yeah if I swap the wheels it will only be for another Starion set- they don't suit aftermarket ones. And yes she is pretty tidy cosmetically- the red paint especially, which isn't bad given it's still the original coat! The bonnet & roof could use a machine polish, it's next on my list to get. The Integra went yesterday- a guy came all the way over from Holland to buy it, he loved the car, gave me the full asking price in cash without so much as an attempt to haggle, and was on his way! Everyone was happy, why can't all second-had car sales be so straight forward. Sadly, despite switching the insurance over to the Starion on saturday, the DVLAs automatic insurance checker is trying to see if I had insurance on 01.05.12 (the start date for the tax disk apllication) which obviously I didnt as I only swapped it yesterday. Meaning I can't tax it online, and so have to wait until Tuesday at the earliest to be able to get it back on the road. It boils my piss that they make all these services automated to try and speed them up, but in reality they are a royal pain in the ass. Rant over.

I'm impressed, and can't say I've seen that colour before either Got mine back on the road for the first time this morning- certainly got some looks going along the A34 to work! I forgot quite how loud it is
