Spelling police about?

Personally, I would keep the grill, ditch the lights and wheels. A smaller subwoofer- a nice 8 inch built into the side would work much better.

Also- £200 coilovers will ruin the ride. Do VXR bits bolt straight on?

I'm not going to post the picture as it is very embarrassing and I have a mullet in it. But. I have a confession to make, when I was 18, I had black headlamp covers on my 1300LX Delta to make it look like an HF4wd.
Yes we all walk a winding road...
I had interior neons in my first car silly

+1 on the insurance. No way are you paying 450 quid a year at your age with 3 points, plus, whenever have mods made insurance go DOWN, not a chance........so, is it mum or dad named as the main driver??

Depends on the company you're with. My insurance quote on the VXR dropped 200quid when told them it had Compomotive wheels, was lowered, had 6 pots and 290bhp. And I know of at least 3 other people who had the same thing happen with the same company. (Greenlight)

I still find it amazing how Gulzar gets the reaction he.does but when someone posts a corsa... PH, double standards matter.

So you expect the same reaction to a poorly modified corsa to a 'only cosmetically' modified bentley/lambo?

hehe

Grill looks ok, but i'd leave it alone, your have trouble selling it with all that crap on it. Learned to drive in a diesel one of them, awful.

I'm 19 and am paying about £1k a year so i'd love to know what you told your inurance company !

I feel a bit sorry for this kid.

Yes he needs some gentle encouragement to not throw money down the drain. I do agree about the modz (see I'm down with the kids), but the likelihood is that he's a bit crushed that he's been ridiculed by a bunch of PH sheep that a few of have only been on here five minutes.

Listen m'laddy... Sadly it does appear that in all innocence you have spent a bit of money in the wrong places and essentially devalued the car. However, we've all done it. smile I wouldn't even want to put on here the hideous piece of sh*t I created as a kid.

Stick around, have a look at the other threads in readers cars and get a feel for what you might like to achieve in a couple of years. Then save like buggery for it and post up your success..

Best of luck byebye

So putting one of those stupid meme faces up and saying 'fails on so many levels' is constructive?

The OP is only 18. His car isn't my cup of tea but it doesn't look bad apart from the lights.

I like the sticker, it my type of humor. (I'm only 17 BTW)

I had a Corsa A for my first car over 10 years ago and that cost me £1200 to insure back then. The car cost me £900 to buy
