love the car they are a wonderful creation.

You must have a midas touch turning 4k into 50 in 5 years. You should get a topic going and give some advice as I know a lot of people would love to be able to replicate it.. a 12.5 roce is pretty good going.

Fair play!
Would be good to get a detailed write up in a couple of months of how you're finding it.

Its hard to work out the quote I paid £800 odd (10 month bonus accelerator policy) on the RS4 had that two months and to change the policy to the GTR for the last 8 months was £686 I think with my favourite Admiral of course!
That's really cheap! You must have tons of NCB or live in a very nice area... or under your parents' policy? Mine is £1200 a year lol! biggrin

Don't think so...he earned all the money himself whilst studying in uni. Just wondering how he could get insurance for so cheap frown I'm with Admiral, 31, clean license, tons of NCB but best price was around £1200...

First off, absolutely gorgeous car !
Now I know it's silly to compare but I see from your garage that you owned a MX5 1.6, but how does it compare to say the RS4 or the GTR. I know power and performance wise it's another world away, but as in driver involvement and general funness. Do you ever miss the simplicity and lightness of the MX%? I only ask as I'm in the market for a MX5 1.6 mk1 for the summer.

It's certainly possible, I'm 19 in my second year of uni, and work everyday I'm not at uni, I've got 2 promotions in the last 8 months, and it's given me my BMW 330i, I guess by working even harder, and having a business brain it's possible to make clever purchases and keep jumping up the ladder.

Hats off to the OP, inspiration to lots of people, and well done, clearly a very motivated and hard working individual and its paid off.

Without being too rude your car is cheap(ish) slightly sporty bmw worth £5-8k?. He's driving a £40k supercar with almost 500bhp. It's a fair difference and not surprising that people are impressed/bemused a bit as a lot of students can't afford any car!

If you manage to trade up to a GT-R before you leave uni then pop back in here and let us know wink

A bit harsh?

If he's managed to buy a 330i at 19, working full-time (ie with his own money) whilst studying I think he's done bloody well!
