I will look at a circuit car next year when the funds are stronger, MR2, Clio 172 (although i have read from yourself and a few others they cant see what the fuss is all about) E36 3 series ( bit obvious though) or maybe an Integra Type R. RWD will be more fun though.

My car is one budget tyres at the moment so will change those at some point, understeers on roundabouts no problem even at slow speeds, i.e, 3rd gear 25 mph. Yes definitely IMO, looks great either dirty or clean, really like the wheels too, they really shine nicely when clean. Mine was on P6000s when I got it and it also suffered from that chronic understeer, in the wet it would let go at 20mph in the wet on roundabouts After the new suspension it would take them very quickly in the dry but the wet was still a problem, so stuck some Continental Sportcontact 3s on (think thats what they were...) and they were awesome in the wet and dry fortunately.

I find adding your parents as named/additional drives can bring the quote down a little bit if they have a clean license and a few years NCB. yer they both have more than 30 years with ncb probably as your 19, im still 16. nice car though

Looks great.. I am still taking lessons and have yet to book my test, but your thread is making me think that I need to hurry up and do it. I still want a SportKa, but I am now considering the Punto. Great shots aswell.

That's lovely for a first car. I had a FIAT Uno when I was your age which was the equivalent back then but yours is a much nicer car.

To be honest, I would have driven anything for a first car. Fiat panda, reliant robin. Couldn't care less! The important thing was wheels.

I'm also looking to buy one of these! If you don't mind me asking, how much are you paying for insurance?

Great little car! My mum had a MK2b Sporting in exactly the same color, allthough with the steering wheel on the other side. I had an older Sporting (MK2a), with the 1.2 16v.
Take it out on track, you'll have a blast. I took mine out on Zandvoort a couple of times, it was awesome.

Love the interior - looks like a bit of Alfa influence in there... Nice first car. (beats a 950cc Mk1 Fiesta not-even-Popular...)
