Hello all,
Just joined pistonheads and decided to post a picture of my car. It is an almost standard 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX 5 Door. Recently had the bumpers resprayed to get rid of 9 years of stone chips and the wheels refurbished along with getting the callipers painted to stop them corroding.

Only mod at the moment is a Roger Clark Motorsport back box, but had it dyno'd at RCM last year when totally standard and was impressed at the result of 238.6Bhp!

Is that the same car you used to have, Pete?

Good to see you here btw.

I have to admit to being a bit of a "Scooby" hater but, there's something about those that say's "I must have a Golden Retriever in the back & watch it do a Garfield on the rear window when I floor it" that just sells them to me!

I want one + dog!

Hi Rich, yeah, same one. Just had the bumpers stripped and reprinted, wheels refurbished and painted graphite and callipers painted red. Oh, and it has a Roger Clark Motorsport Stainless Steel back box to give it a proper warble!

No dog in back, but my 4 year old daughter enjoys it when I give it some!

That works well!

I've got a Vectra GSi estate to cart the kids about in, obviously not the power of an Impreza but still enough for the kids to give me the "faster Daddy" bit!

My Estate is silver though, definately needs a Golden Retriever in the back just to finish things off......

Not yet had to try the excuse to the police that I was speeding because my daughter enjoys it. Hope not to need it.

Quite like the dog idea, but wouldn't want to have to clean up the mess afterwards.

Cheers for the comments. Been really pleased with the change in wheel colour and red callipers. They've lifted the appearance of the car and made it look a lot newer.
