Sounds like the alternator has gone. Try charging the battery and see if it starts. Does it do anything when you turn the key?
i got a jump and the car started you cant let the car idle as when it goes onto idle everything loses power and you have to rev it for everything to come back. my mate had a quick look and said it could be a bearing as he could see something wobbling about.
but considering the weather we have had i think the alternator has been flooded the car has been left tonight gonna go back tomorrow jump it and see if it works after letting it dry out.

picked up a nice exhaust got it fitted aswel i like it but i guess alot of people wont. makes a nice note in the low revs but high revs it ends up being a bit quieter.

got myself some nice new wheel nuts. probably not to everyone's taste.
wasnt my first choice but i saw alot of horror stories about aluminum snapping easily so there are apparently titanium not sure what that means but im guessing titanium is stronger than aluminum.

white alloys gone and replaced with black team dynamics with chrome lip. i prefered the white ones but it worked out better getting the black ones + pain in the arse cleaning the white ones dont stay clean for long.

Personally I much preffered the look of the white wheels, I've never really liked chrome lips on alloys though so thats probably why

Your car looks mint though, nice work

How the hell did you get that insurance price? Been looking at one of these for myself, I'm 20 had my licence for 2 and a half years (no car but insurance prices have dropped still) and would be looking at £900-£1000!

well im 22 0 no claims and i live in a small village out in the country + i have a stty little black box in my car that does fk all they say it tracks you but since i took out the policy with them i have not heard a single word from them and plus my dad is a named driver that took the price down a bit.
it is due for renewal in a month or 2 and i have been quoted £800 with 1 no claims.
wait until your 21 and you will see a drop in your insurance but these are only insurance group 6 so cheap to insure anyway.

Is that with all those modifications declared too?

I would say that all the modifications declared, as that is a pretty reasonable quote for the car, age and no claims bonus. I'm similar in that I live out in a low risk area in the country and have a Honda S2000 at 21 for only £1300 a year but I have 3 years no claims bonus.

R.e the car; looks pretty nice, like that shape civic in red, think a set of ep3 type R alloys would look alot nicer. Also another vote for losing the mud flaps, Honda aren't known for their WRC success...
