How the hell did you get that insurance price? Been looking at one of these for myself, I'm 20 had my licence for 2 and a half years (no car but insurance prices have dropped still) and would be looking at £900-£1000!
well im 22 0 no claims and i live in a small village out in the country + i have a stty little black box in my car that does fk all they say it tracks you but since i took out the policy with them i have not heard a single word from them and plus my dad is a named driver that took the price down a bit.
it is due for renewal in a month or 2 and i have been quoted £800 with 1 no claims.
wait until your 21 and you will see a drop in your insurance but these are only insurance group 6 so cheap to insure anyway.
Is that with all those modifications declared too?
I would say that all the modifications declared, as that is a pretty reasonable quote for the car, age and no claims bonus. I'm similar in that I live out in a low risk area in the country and have a Honda S2000 at 21 for only £1300 a year but I have 3 years no claims bonus.

R.e the car; looks pretty nice, like that shape civic in red, think a set of ep3 type R alloys would look alot nicer. Also another vote for losing the mud flaps, Honda aren't known for their WRC success...
yes all mods are declared
i would like a set of EP3 alloys but they wont fit sadly as the preface EP2 is a 4 stud compared to the type-r and facelift being 5 stud i could get a set of rep ones they are 16" but very hard to find.
the mud flaps have gone as 1 got ripped off somehow and i lost it so took the rest off.

Act of god losing the mud flaps!

Regarding insurance, I got raped for my DC5 the year I had it. £1800 per year. I now pay £400ish for it, Ive had it ages, I'm 33 now mind. I have an S2000 too, that is £450 a year.
Both White with red Bride seats. Love them both although I'm feeling an itch to swap the DC5 for a 370Z.

Back to yours EP after my tangent, I wouldn't go for EP3 wheels even if they fitted, it would look like every other EP3 with smaller kit. They did 16" version of the wheels for the sport. I really liked your white wheels by the way smile

you have a white S2000 and DC5? i have just grown a dislike to you. i would love a DC5 or S2k but would have to be white i think white is the best color for any honda.
i agree im not a fan of the EP3 wheels everyone has them and the 16" once are hard to find plus they are kinda small i prefer 17".
as for the white ones i did like them but they were buckled as they came with the car when i bought it so i just kinda put up with it until i could get new ones so im thinking of spraying the onces i have white.
