Ive had it 10 years next month. There isnt a week that goes by that I dont have an 8 series in my watched items on ebay!! Theres a massive difference in prices/values so its not as simple as diving in for a bargain. Ive seen them go for as little as £1200 (yesterday) to way over £12k for a mint sport.

Amazing when you put so much time and effort in to a car that you just couldn't bear to let it go. Huge difference in prices on the E31, with dealers being more than a tad optimistic. A mate of mine has a lovely 25k mile 840 Sport in silver which is stunning. http://bmwclassics.co.uk/840cisport01/index.html

My M3 isnt quite as good as that but my 968CS isnt far off.

I love these cars, black roof totally works!
Maybe a raw carbon fibre one down the line, a'la M3 CSL?

Very nice, love the Alpinas on it. I am determined I will have an 850csi in the garage at some point, although i'll probably ruin myself fuelling it..

It didn't help when one of my relatives, bought a Barbie Pink 8 series toy, for one of my daughters.

That red one stands really nice. I've just bought one. Doing a few jobs on it but it's basically ok. Need to get my roof done too and did consider black or maybe a wrap but as my car is orient blue its probably best left as is colour wise.

Orient is pretty dark anyway so not sure a black roof would give enough contrast. What year is yours? Have a gander at the clube31 site. Good luck. Lovely motors

always had s soft spot for the 8 series, think yours looks very nice in particular shrew, my first choice of wheel was always the 3piece bbs but your Alpina wheels look always thought i'd get a V12 but the V8 seems universally preferred even though it wasn't BMWs flagship, I can understand it being liked, I think its the same engine that's in our 4.4 RR? a corker even in 3 tons of metal. anyways, nice cars chaps
