Top work. I'm going to e-mail a link to Will at PPC magazine on Monday and urge him to put this car in the mag. This country needs more of this sort of thing.

Absolutely tremendous. This is possibly my favourite project that I've seen so far on PH!

Thanks for all the kind replys yes it is a silly project but im now well aware you only live once soo thought i best get on with it, it went together fairly well i just measured up the widths of the cars and cut to suit, going to have it as a road\track car, inside the car i was going to keep the standard evo recaro seats as they just bolt to the floor but they are too heavy for liking,im keepin the evo dash and a few bits of trim round the handbrake and gear stick and maybe carpet where your feet go

Got some 4pot brembos off evo5 but they were too big for the other rims but had these off my other evo they are just a different offset to clear the claiper,

Got the exhaust fabricated up using the exhaust off the evo cut down and a couple of bends welding in, and made a rolled tip for it out of some round bar welded round

I went for loud side of things as gettin a back box in there was tight

so thats where im at with the car now,the front bumper will have the grills back not the holes you see there

Thanks for looking Will

WOW what a brilliant project does look like standared c2 until you look under the bonnet. There is another c2 with 2 v6 engines in who is a poster on here. If i had the time and space i would do a 6r4 replica.

yikes that exhaust is going to be ridiculous! no silencers?? looks brilliant, only thing i would change is the rear lights and some more subtle wheels!

I think the rear lights add to it, I was thinking about putting Lexus lights on my 'sleeper' Fiesta!

I love this. My first car was a 1.4 c2 in Posi blue. To do something like this would have been awesome but I am lacking in certain areas such as funds, skills, etc biggrin

It looks jester from behind

And please, for the love of god, videos.

There is one photo we definitely need, the tears/quizzical look of the first sports car driver you confuse the st out of as you destroy then in what appears to be a C2

I agree, I think the OP needs to go with a sort of reverse-sleeper look, so mod the exterior as a typical crap Barry effort - stickers that say "Carlsberg", "Dominos" and so on below the side repeaters, badged as a VTS 24v GTI M5 and so on. People will look and think "Christ, there's another daft bd in his 1.1SX".

Then he will disappear very, very quickly...

Either that, or paint it up the same colours as the Xsara rally car.
