C2 Evolution

Hello yeah it did get finished for the first year and drove it about but not on a stage, the rebuild is still underway fitting the wide body kit is about there, and engine is at machine shop having a 2.3 litre crank fitted and forged pistons,rods race bearings , balancer shaft removed,I have a big turbo to go on it as well, it's all coming together now, will be starting to think about having it painted very soon,

Rear bumper on after being reshaped it fitted badly then was too short as well so cut it and fibreglassed it back together

It will be next year now, I've gone a bit further with it than what I first planned, it will be worth it going much lighter

Rear subframe for diff about made still a couple of braces to go in, I did buy a subframe but I'm using a different diff so had to make my own subframe,

Twin plate clutch to go in

Good to see it back sunny side up and sill stands are well worth the effort of fitting,

Oh the engine is here too, turbo is just loose but I had to see it on

I'm just going white with maybe some red bits and bobs on it, I'm having fun finding all the bits to put it back together with

Final drive changed in gearbox to give a lesser top speed and shorter gearing, done by me and a friend it wasn't as difficult as first thought,

It's been a while but it's painted and looking beautiful for it, time to rebuild it

Oh I couldn't sell it, too much time and effort in it I want to enjoy it once it's finished again, what would it be worth ?

Well it’s coming along now , it’s on the bottom of the to do list but I am making an effort to get to done as a xmas present to myself , it’s been to evo specialist but got a few problems running really rich due to air flow meter problems but it’s on the mend

Swapping turbo to a evo 9 80 series will make life easier for me to get the car up and useable , it will still make plenty of power , the old air flow meter was shot so it wouldn't run and a couple of pins wrong in ecu plug , it should be running again tomorrow
