Negotiate and get it for £250. Sell that bits that you don't need and you could have a rot free shell sitting next to your project for next to nothing

(Might want to go and have a look at it first, mind... Just saying)

wink

Well the 405 is now sold, and been delivered to the new owner. He has several 405 mi16's, and this will be butchered for parts. He read this whole topic and knows how bad the car is, so no surprises for him.

I still have the wheels if anyone is interested.

Shame, but I see why. I hope you did not lose too much frown
Look forward to your next purchase.

Very little loss thankfully. I fear my next car won't be very PH worthy, I'm aiming for a C6 in around 12/18 months, and should really be sensible for the interim....

Seen about four C6s today, and got a lot of love for the quirky barge of depreciation.

Includes this one for sale

Fancy it just for the wooden semi circles on the door cards.

I know someone with the C6 diesel and full leather and I've got to say its a very comfy place to be!

Good luck with your next project anyway.

15's. They currently have 195/55/15 tyres fitted.
I'm away this weekend but when i get back I'll look into postage and whether they'll fit and let you know. smile

I was on google searching for "195/55/15" and this thread was in the results so I thought I'd read it and felt me ears burning lol.
Ive had the same red 405 mi16 for 9 years now, came from Miles. She's still going strong but cosmetically needs attention inside and out. The aircon died too. Im not quite as obsessed as I once was but some day I'll have to get something else and i hate that. There is no modern equivelant.

A quick update on the cock smile

The wheels now live on my 205.
Was a bit of a pain getting them on. Spacers, stripped threads, new hubs and wotnot, but they DO live on!
I'm not going to rename it "spirit of cock", or Cockfeet though.

sorry the mi never worked out for you.

i bought one about 6 months ago, which had been stood over 4 years.

just brakelines and fuel lines were the biggest issue. but i'm currently in the middle of a part restoration
