Hey all,

I've been reading this forum since 2008ish, and have just joined!

Here's my car, its not a proper PH car, but its my car none the less!

Well, thats it.

I haven't changed much on it, pretty standard really.

I did find out that i have footwell bulb sockets the other day, so bought some blue LED's to go in them..

Anyway, i wash it regular, keep it in tip top condition and look after it well!

Nice car, these always look like ST's from a distance with the big bumpers and 18's.

Not keen on the exhaust, would really benefit from an ST style system or even just a twin box or similar. Maybe just clean the tip!

(I'll ignore the blue lights)

Hi and wecome to PH. wavey

I also have a Zetec S3 - It's a 1.8 TDCi, 09 reg and its been very good to me.
Geting on 34k miles and up for its 1st MOT end of this month.

I will look for these footwell sockets, but must say - don't think it's quite me...hehe

Thanks!
I've got red LEDs which match the display and plain white ones - trying them each for one week! They only come on when the doors open, so aren't toooo chav!

I don't know why the exhaust points down, but I think they all do? I would love to get a ST system, or dual exhaust but I'm under the impression that it'll cost a fair bit, and bump the insurance up!

(Ive tried cleaning the exhuast tip but didn't get anywhere! Any ideas on what to use?)

Try some AutoGlym super resin polish on the exhaust tip - and a lot of patience!

Is it a diesel? If so that's why the exhaust points down. Otherwise all Focus' have a down-turned exhaust, but most with this kit seem to have the big chrome trim.

Clean it with Autosol.

Thanks. I'm happy with it!

2.0L Petrol

At the time no one would insure me on a ST so I went for this instead smile

The blue is a bloody nice colour!

The only bit I'm not keen on is the engine sound. Quite high pitched and a bin tinny sounding!
Would prefer more grunt!

Ah mine is the 1.6 Petrol...it has a nice grunty noise.

I'm assuming you looked at the pic in my profile...it is stunning, althought it seems to suit any colour.

Which is why I went for the diesel.

I like low down grunt - Always rode British bikes (stilll own a Norton Commando)
Drove a petrol 2 litre tester then the 2lD

Just loved the turbo that cuts in around 2.5k revs. Sweet.
