Haven't updated this for a while! I've had the car nearly 2 months now and I'm still loving it smile

I started an apprenticeship beginning of September and the MX made sitting on the M6 in traffic quite enjoyable smile However I've since left that apprenticeship as I have been offered a dream job for me and I couldn't refuse it! Only downside is that I now have a colossal commute every day so I'm not sure how long the MX will be staying frown

Gave it a big clean today and I'm going to see how things go but I can't help thinking I'll have to buy a diesel soon! Would love to buy a daily and then keep this for the weekends but I just can't afford to insure two cars at my age

I have the rest of this week off so I'm going to make the most of it and have a day or two out in the car smile can anyone recommend some good roads in the midlands I should try?

I do like that! Is that a standard size plate?

3/4 size. Had it on for about 2 weeks and so far so good... Bit twitchy about having a non-standard plate, but a normal one would either hit speed humps or block the radiator. And I do like the looks! Just gotta fill the holes where the old plate was now.

Another option is square and centre

Personally I quite like the standard plate on mine but each to their own. The square mounted to the side seems a very popular move on Mk1s and 2s.
